About Me

My name is Josi. My passion is creating modern quilts by playing with color and fabric to create something to be loved and to bring comfort.  I grew up wrapped in the love that my Great Grandma Clausia and Aunt Donna quilted for me and my siblings. My daughters still use many of these well loved quilts today.  After I had my own children, I began my quilting journey on my own, as an experiment in 2011, and it has swept me into a full blown obsession!

Quilting is creative and practical, and fits me very well.

I am a mom of three little girls, a wife, a daughter, a sister.  I have a handful of balls I juggle because I think I can do everything, though reality has found a ball or two dropped now and again.  I’ve found my limits, and I realize I can’t do everything perfectly, but I can do a good number of things well enough. But really, my sewing table calls me constantly, and I am learning constantly, and challenging myself.

I am inspired by the modern quilters of the world!  I hope to continue learning, squeezing in quilting to continue to mold my style into something that is exciting and complementary.  I aim to create my own designs, and to share them with the world!  Please let me know what you think!
