Mini Quilt Swap

Sew My Stash Mini Quilt, Complete

My partner Tina @sashikostyle has received the swap package I sent, so I can finally share it.  Here is the mini I created for her:

The goal of the swap was to use up fabric in our stash, and was hosted by Leasa @projectleasa.  Tina had mentioned that she liked Carolyn Friedlander and Cotton and Steel Fabric, so I decided to let some of my favorites go in the spirit of the swap.  She also likes Marimekko designs, similar to the below pattern, so I started playing with drunkards path circles:

The remaining circles I appliqued onto the quilt, and came up with the final design.  Here is a close up of the quilting:

Finally, I completed the package with a small thread catcher basket made with more Carolyn Friedlander fabric, as well as a bunch of loved scraps, some clips and chocolate!

I hope that Tina likes it as much as I do,  swaps are always a bit tricky trying to create for someone you have only met online.  I have finished all three swaps now, and am on to some QuiltCon challenges!
